… to BOLD-ly go where no one has been before

Raffle's Design Instutite BoldTwice a year, Raffles Design Institute Kuala Lumpur holds it’s graduation exhibition & fashion show and 3rd April 2008 is when the 19th graduation show was held.

The theme this time is “BOLD”, what is BOLD really? “BOLD perfectly describes the aspirations of our students.” according to Mr. Chris Lee, Vice Dean of RDIKL and he adds, “they (the students) want to be bold enough to set new fashion treands or reinvent old ones, daring enough to defy all odds and (be) brave enough to take all the necessary risks that can evetually be rewarding for each of them.”

MIFW 2007In all honesty, I had written a blog article about MIFW ’07 and it was written in anger; suffice to say, it did not say any nice things about MIFW ’07 at all and I have since removed and erased it. So… it’s 2008 and here’s MIFW ’07 in all its glory…

MIFW ’07 was held in KL Convention Center, one of the premium exhibition or show locations located right beside the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur; though not that well-planned it did manage to improve in many ways compared to MIFW ’06. It was a 4 full-days packed with fashion shows and special parties. Continue reading
