Pangkor Island is a small island off the coast of Lumut in Perak, Malaysia. More of a day-tripper’s haven to most Malaysians, it is well-known for it’s beaches, reasonably priced seafood and some small local tourist attractions like the Dutch fort, Chinese temples, etc.

Fortunately for me, we were putting up at a resort with a nice private beach and I caught sight of local fishermen plying their trade… being something of a photojournalist at heart, I took the opportunity to grab a few shots despite the lousy weather.
